KRIO Plc. commenced activity on 17th December 1998. The primary goal of our activity is freezing and preserving sperms of males whose fertility may be endangered any applied operations or therapies. Naturally, our door was and is open for those healthy men as well who visit us on safeguarding considerations. Certainly, in these cases the preservation is done exclusively for their own purposes. In the last years we started a very intensive research in the using of stem cells with umbilical cord blood origin. Since 2001, our institute has been participating in experiments as part of a consortium, together with other members who are also planning to establish umbilical cord banks. As a result of these experiments, on 4th March 2004, KRIO was the first institute in Hungary to receive the approval of the professional authority for the freezing and preservation of umbilical cord blood. KRIO Institute deals with cryopreservation (deep freezing, cryobank, spermbank) of sperm cells (gametes, human semen, sperms) and umbilical cord blood cells (stem cells). We also offer fertility tests for males (andrology, medical test) and donor semen samples for infertile couples. Our main aim is the quality service from fertilisation to the delivery for every couples.
Institutul KRIO se ocup� cu congelarea �i stocarea celulelor game�i masculini (spermatozoizi,spem� celule de sperm�, lichid seminal precum �i cu congelarea �i depozitarea celulelor din s�ngele cordonului ombilical (celul� stem din s�ngele ombilical, banca de celule primare, celul� primar� din s�ngele ombilical, banca de celule, banca de celule pentru s�ngele ombilical, banca de celule stem, celule hematopoetice, hematoformatoare, celule stem, celule din cordonul ombilical). Serviciul b�ncii de celule este complementat cu teste medicale de fecunda�ie (teste de andrologie, teste de fertilitate, teste medicale), �i cu congelarea probelor de la donori (banca de donori, banca krio). Scopul Institutului este ca s� furnizeze servicii complexe �i de calitate, de la fecundare p�n� la na�tere, pentru fiecare pereche, so�i care doresc s� aib� copii.
